To better exploit the space available, Techpol is providing itself with an automated vertical warehouse equipped with rail-mounted containers aimed at the intensive storage of items of various types, size, weight and shape. In our case we will be storing accessories to be used on a daily basis for the production of our components.
The warehouse is made up of rail-mounted trays picking up the requested material and delivering it to the workstation, where the operator picks it up and then deposits the assembled product.
The idea behind this innovative warehouse is the reduction of picking time and of the chance of making mistakes, the maximum protection for the stored materials and an effective management of the stock. Its design allows the maximum exploitation of vertical space with a reduced floor space requirement.
