Regarding the diffusion of COVID-19 in Italy, Techpol, although is based in a marginally affected Region, with the intention to protect its employees, collaborators, suppliers and clients has immediately activated a series of preventive measures that are still effective:
- All employees have been informed about hygienic and prevention norms to follow and a particular invitation has been addressed at those who feel unwell avoiding to come to work
- Operators more in contact with public have been provided with protection devices
- Offices and spaces have been sanitized by a certified company, cleaning work shifts doubled and we have adopted disinfectant cleaners
- All the structures and accesses in smart working have been reinforced to be ready in case it is necessary for some collaborators to work from home.
- All the business trips have been cancelled until new communication
- All clients’ and suppliers’ visits in Techpol have been cancelled. Only strictly necessary visits for the continuation of the production activity are being authorized
- All the strategic suppliers have been consulted about their production capacity and we are continuously monitoring the situation
In this difficult moment Techpol is doing everything in its power to reduce contagion risks and to ensure an unchanged production capacity in the interest of all stakeholders. Furthermore, we want to remark that Techpol procure the majority of moulds in Ancona province, reducing the necessity of trips and facilitating in this situation contacts with suppliers. In addition, we have an internal automation department to build assembling lines and automations for all the moulding lines. Moulds and equipment manutention is autonomous as well.
Techpol is doing all the possible and all the authorities are advising, we reply every day to suppliers’ and clients’ reassurance requests and with this communication we want to confirm again our commitment so that the production activity proceeds in the best way. We ask in the same way our partners to promptly report any problems, as well as take note of the measures we wanted to introduce and to respect them.
