See one of our latest automatic assembly equipment dedicated to the production of cooling water connection pipe for a battery pack of a BEV platform, an apparently simple application but with very demanding technical features and assembly process:
- assembly of two metal bushings and two o-rings
- Tightness test
- Vision control
- Laser datamatrix marking
- Packaging with 2 protective caps
All performed automatic on assembly machine designed and manufactured by Techpol’s automation dept. Surface roughness of sealing areas as well as cleanliness specifications are the additional technical requirements.
Not so simple after all, especially if you consider the production volumes.
