On November 28 Techpol hosted the third year classes of the IIS Volterra-Elia Institute of Higher Education in Ancona with specialization in Mechatronics and Mechanics for the event SME DAY 2022. Techpol joined the initiative by welcoming about 40 young people accompanied by their teachers. The program of the day was a company presentation and a visit to the production departments.
A special focus has been placed on the development of automations in our production and on the highly sought-after professionals connected this sector. Dr. Moretti, President of Piccola Industria – Confindustria Ancona was also present during the day. SME DAY, since 2010, sees every year the small and medium-sized enterprises associated with Confindustria open their doors to young people for guided tours and meetings.
This is an initiative organized with the Confindustria Associations, designed to help spread awareness of the production reality of companies, the opportunities they can offer and their daily commitment to growth, through a moment of direct experience in the company and the meeting with its protagonists. SME DAY, which takes place in Italy and abroad, involves hundreds of companies and thousands of participants and allows students to see how products and services are born and to grasp the experience of the people who contribute to making them, learn about the of the company, the pride and daily commitment of the people who are part of it.
The theme of the 2022 edition is beauty.
The beauty of Italian know-how, an expression of the skills, values and culture that we find in the production of goods and services by companies. Beauty, as an asset, as a distinctive character and competitive factor that arises from the attitude of "doing well". Beauty as a culture of training and research, as the quality of the relationships that develop within the corporate community. Beauty as a common good to be communicated and shared with the ecosystem. Beauty as freedom, justice, tolerance, solidarity and legality.
A day to learn about the value of work, the importance and beauty of undertaking, of transforming an idea into a project and a project into a concrete result, of assuming responsibility even beyond the company gates, of "working together" to share knowledge and new goals.
The initiative received the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Education and the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces and is part of the initiatives of the Corporate Culture Week organized by Confindustria and of the European week SME sponsored by the European Commission.
