Research, development and prototypes

An in-house design department works alongside customers in the development and engineering stages.
The main aim of the inhouse design team is that of research and development of tech solutions and innovations in injection moulding and mould mechanics as well as the study of automation able to optimise the process and therefore, the production flow of the project, from the design for the plastic part to completion of the finished product.

We have implemented extremely complex production processes including Two-component and Overmoulding with:

  • Metal and plastic inserts (and the relevant assembly equipment).
  •  Complex co-moulding of metal inserts.
  •  Technologies for welding plastic parts: vibration, ultrasound, hot blade, infra red.
  • Control equipment: seals, tensile and compression loads, measurement jigs.

The technical department uses the following software:
