Techpol's commitment to the introduction of collaborative robotics in the production of automotive components

Thanks to established collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Marche, Techpol has initiated a research project odor a scholarship in Industrial Engineering, the candidate Mirco Polonora, focused on studying intelligent solutions for factory automation.

In particular, the project aims at demonstrating how the adoption of collaborative robotics in the production processes of a small to medium-sized enterprise like Techpol leads to increased productivity and profitability, shifting human labor towards more qualified tasks.

Collaborative robotics allows for the creation of automated processes centered around humans, enabling workers to work alongside robots safely, thus improving workplace safety and job satisfaction.

Impact on Productivity and Efficiency

The research data collected so far has already shown how the deployment of a single small-sized cobot in a plastic welding station automates repetitive tasks, allowing employees to focus on more strategic activities, ultimately enhancing the production process in terms of cost optimization, efficiency, and productivity. This aligns with the principles of Industry 5.0, which places the worker at the center of production and redefines human activities in a context of human-robot integration.
