The automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation as electric vehicles (EVs) gain traction worldwide. At the heart of this shift is the Electric Drive Unit (EDU), a critical component that replaces traditional internal combustion engines in EVs.
The Electric Drive Unit comprises several key components, including the electric motor, power electronics, and the transmission system. At Techpol we are leading this transformation with several key components which we deliver to different OEMs and Tier 1. One of these components are Jet rings which cover a very important function for the electrical motor; Thanks to several small holes of a diameter less then 1mm they contribute to effective motor conditioning by creating an oil screen that ensures flow rate and correct conical flow direction. Two gaskets guarantee to the creation of the hydraulic circuit providing the right pressure for the system to work.
A custom made automation guarantees 100% check of functional characteristics as well as productivity for high volume applications.
